Zine Anna M. Holenda, age 104, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Whitehall Manor. She was born November 13, 1919, in Batroun, Lebanon, the daughter of the late Frank and Fannie Charley.

Zine started her work in her earlier years at the purse factory of Lily Mills. She then became a homemaker for the rest of her time that she could, taking care of the house and family. She was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Church in Allentown for many years as well as a member of the Les Amis social club. Zine enjoyed the casino, movies, and social gatherings. She also loved to go to Hess's department store "clean up" sale, where she would race to get the deals!

Zine is survived by son, Michael J. III and wife Diane of Catawissa; daughter, Bonnie A. and husband, David Maruschak of Whitehall; grandson, Michael J. IV and wife Stephanie of Catawissa; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in 2006 by her loving husband of 58 years, Michael Holenda, Jr.; and two brothers, David and Charles.

Professional Services are entrusted to Weber Funeral Homes, P.C. in Allentown.  A closed casket visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. until the time of Funeral Services at 11:00 A.M. all at Weber Funeral Homes, P.C. 502 Ridge Avenue, Allentown, PA 18102. Interment will immediately follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Zine's memory to Family Pillars Hospice, 3910 Adler Pl, Bethlehem, PA 18017. Zine's family would also like to thank Whitehall Manor and Family Pillars Hospice for the extraordinary care given to her all 18 years.
