Youssef Makhoul, age 83, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023 at his home. He was born August 10, 1939 in Syria, the son of the late Salim and Naife (Yacoub) Makhoul.

Youssef emigrated to the United States in the mid-1970s and worked as a textile worker. He belonged to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Allentown.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Hayat (Abboud) Makhoul; daughters - Nouhad Moussa; Sonia Yaghi and Lori Makhoul; Sons: Selim, Fadi and Ramon Makhoul: all of the Lehigh Valley- Brother: Jamil Makhoul, of Allentown, PA; Sisters: Jannette, Jamileh, and Mary, all of Lebanon. 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A Public Viewing will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 9:30 A.M. until the time of Funeral Services at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow in Laurel Cemetery in Allentown.
