William F. Uhl, 92, of Coopersburg died Friday, February 23, 2007 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Hilja M. (Hariu) Uhl. Born in Spring Valley, he was a son of the late Max and Anna (Schonherr) Uhl. William was a construction worker for the former Falcone Grading Co. of Allentown before retiring in 1977. He served 30 years in the US Navy seeing action in WW II and the Korean War. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Hellertown. Survivors: Son, Stephen W. and wife Rose of Coopersburg; daughters, Jane A. wife of Donald Masters of Bethlehem and Karen E. wife of James Ali of Center Valley; sister, Elizabeth Uhl of Center Valley; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers; Henry, Max, Charles, Edward and Francis; sisters, Anna Uhl and Josephine Hummel. Services: 11:00 am Wednesday, February 28, 2007 in Christ Lutheran Church, 69 S.
