William F. "Colonel Klink" Peltz, 75 of Allentown, passed away on Sunday December 9, 2007 surrounded by his family at HCR, ManorCare, Salisbury Twp., PA. He was the loving husband of Eleanor Elizabeth (Schuch) Peltz. They celebrated 52 years of marriage this past May. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late William H. and Virginia (Dry) Peltz. Bill was a driver for the former Solmar Surgical of Allentown for 7 years before retiring in 1994. Previously he was a molder for the former Square D Company of Emmaus for 14 years. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a life member of the Jordan Athletic Club and the Hogans Social Club of Allentown. He enjoyed bowling with his league friends, but the New York Yankees were his passion. Survivors: Wife, Eleanor; son, William W. and wife Beverly of Shillington; daughters, Linda M. Perry and Sharon L. wife of Kevin McGrath both of Allentown, Virginia A. Weaver of Warner Robins, GA, Jeanne L. wife of Douglas Boehrer of Walnutport and Vicki L. wife of Russ Blue of Granite Falls, MN; sister Jean M. Frank of Salem, NH; seven grandchildren, Mark and Cara Weaver, Melissa and Andrea Boehrer, Brooke and Jedd William Blue and Amanda Peltz; great-grandchildren, Shelby A. Gorman and Quinn J.
