Obituary

William Lipko, 89, of Allentown, passed away on Aug. 31. He was born on July 29, 1923 to the late Nicholas and Anna (Wagner) Lipko. He was predeceased by brothers Nicholas, Joseph, John and Paul. He was a submariner in the Navy during World War II, and would later work at Exide as a shipping clerk. He was a lifetime member of the Fearless Fire Company, member of the Allentown Leiderkrantz, and member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
Survivors: He is survived by wife Elizabeth (Temmel), with whom he shared 42 years of marriage; sister-in-laws Rose Miller, Stella Horvath, Pauline Traupman, Ethel Yandrisevets, and Elsie Decker; brother-in-law Robert Temmel; nieces, nephews, and many other loving family and friends.
Services: Visitation Wed. Sep 5, 11:00-Noon, followed by a Noon service both at Weber Funeral Home, 1619 W. Hamilton St. Allentown, PA 18102. Internment at Queenship of Mary cemetery, Northampton to follow.
