William Donohue
William Donohue, 68, of Allentown, passed away February 24, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Thomas and Marie (Trexler) Donohue. He was the loving husband of Juliann (Teman) Donohue; they would have celebrated 47 years of marriage on Monday, Feb. 27th. Known as Uncle Bill to his family and Grumpy to his grandchildren, he was a Pocono lover who enjoyed spending time with family and friends up at the cabin. Hunting, snowmobiling, bowling and "union meetings" were some of his favorite past times. He was a dependable handyman who could fix anything. He retired from Mack Trucks after 39 years of dedicated employment and also served on the Board of Directors for the UAW Local 677. He has been a life long member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Allentown
Survivors: Wife; Daughters, Colleen, wife of Mark Seidt of Blandon, Erin, wife of Randy Sartor of MN, Chrissie, wife of Rodney Keziah of SC, and Courtney Donohue fianc of David Doheny of Allentown; Granddaughters, Abigayle Lewis and Francesca Sartor; Brother, Thomas J., husband of Cookie of Easton; Sister, Mary, wife of Stephen Regec of Allentown; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Edward, and a sister, Kathryn.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 AM, Wed., Feb. 29, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 501 Ridge Ave., Allentown. Viewing: 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Tues., Feb. 28th and 9:00 - 9:45 AM, Wed., Feb. 29 at Weber Funeral Home, 502 Ridge Ave., Allentown, PA. Interment will follow at Laurel Cemetery. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
