William H. Carmitchell, Jr., 76, of Allentown died Thursday May 6, 2010 at ManorCare, Salisbury Twp. Born in Lancaster, he was a son of the late William H., Sr. and Ruth (Eshleman) Carmitchell. William was a graduate of Elizabethtown University and the Drew Theological Seminary. He was an ordained minister and served the Holly Spring, GA Methodist Church prior to teaching at Dieruff High School for 23 years and the Trexler Middle School before retiring in 1999. In 1952 he was selected by the American Friends Service Community to represent the United States in the International Youth Service in Berlin, Germany. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Survivors: Daughter, Lisa Carmitchell of Wisconsin.
