William E. Bernabucci, 101, of Allentown died Tuesday December 16, 2014 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Madeline K. (King) Bernabucci for 43 years before her death in 1985. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Jack and Julia (Terrani) Bernabucci.

Bill was a food service manager for many years last being employed by Allentown General Hospital for 16 years before retiring in 1976. He was a Staff Sergeant in the US Army serving in WW II. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Bill was an avid golfer and member of the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Golf League and a life member of the Hogan's Club and the Fullerton Fire Company social club. Bill celebrated his 101 anniversary of his birth with a party on October 19, 2014.

Survivors: Sons, William L. and wife Frances of Whitehall and Leo J. and companion Carol Bracalente of Allentown; Sisters, Viola Klegarth of Allentown and Jean Stofanak of Mechanicsburg, PA; grandchildren, Robert Bernabucci and wife Danielle and Kelly Anne Bernabucci ; great grandchildren, Amelia and Jack.


Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am Saturday December 20, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall, PA 18052. Call 9:45-10:45 am at the church. Full military honors following the mass.
