Wilbert W. "Wil" Becker, Jr., 72, of Allentown died Tuesday May 5, 2009 at Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Twp. He was the husband of Colleen H. (Schaffer) for 50 years, celebrating their anniversary December 13, 2008. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Wilbert W., Sr. and Ruth (Harris) Becker. Wilbert was proprietor of Becker Roofing of Allentown for 15 years before retiring in 2002. Previously he was a mechanic for Mack Trucks for 24 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, where he had served as President of the Brotherhood, and also as council member. Wilbert served his country in the US Navy. He was also a past President of FOE lodge #110. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Survivors: Wife; sons, Michael T. and wife Susan of Emmaus, Wayne Alan and wife Loretta of Allentown; daughters, Michele M. Cygan of Collegeville and Eileen F. Cruz of Troy, PA; brothers, Carey, Bryan, and sister Barbara; eight grandchildren, Arielle, Brandon., Jillian, Christopher, Marisa, Alexandria ,Luke, and Evan. He was predeceased by brothers Duane, John David, and James.
