Walter Pummer Sr., 95, of Allentown, passed away April 29 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Twp. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Cecelia (Missbeichler) and Samuel Pummer. Walter was the husband of Mary (Stoppy) for 52 yrs. before her passing in 1997. He retired from Holan Corp. where he worked for 10 yrs. as a painter. Walter was a self taught musician who took pleasure in learning and playing many different instruments. He also used his wife's recipes and taught himself to be a good cook and baker. Survivors: Sons, Walter Jr. and wife Karen L. of Bethlehem, Larry and wife Deborah J. of Coopersburg, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers and a sister. Services: Wed. 11AM at Weber Funeral Home, 1619 Hamilton St. Allentown. A viewing will be held from 10AM till time of service.
