Walter A. Donschietz
Walter J. Donschietz 89, of Allentown, passed away on July 9th in Sacred Heart Hospital. Born in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Julia (Boder) Donschietz Walter was the loving husband of Anna (Raub) Donschietz. for 63 years. He became a master lithographer/printer for Miers/Bachman where he printed many famous soda and beer labels. He retired in 1982. While stationed in the US Army during WWII, he became SFC and chief gunner while serving in the Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theater. Walter was a member of Cathedral of St. Catherine of Siena. He was a fan of all the Philadelphia sports teams, he enjoyed his family and his crosswords.
Survivors: Wife, Daughter: Marlene wife of John Sabo of Allentown. Sons: Thomas and his wife Angela of Allentown, Paul and his wife Susan of Emmaus. Brother Donald of Kresgeville. Eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his loving daughters Janice in 1961 and Gail in 1981, siblings: Eddie, Frank, Fritz, Carl, Margaret, Emma and Jean. Dad, we are hurting at our loss but your gain into eternal life, pray that others may follow your lead in kindness and love.
