Virginia M. Smolick, 79, passed away Feb. 21 in her Bethlehem home. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Trump) Washitzko. Virginia was last employed by Muhlenberg Hospital in the housekeeping dept. before her retirement in 2002. She was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Bethlehem. Survivors: Sons, John J. and wife LeeAnn of Kunkletown, Thomas P. and wife Sheila of Bethlehem; daughter, Sharon S.wife of Thomas Ortiz of Bethlehem; 7 granddaughters; 1 great grandson; sister, Catherine Wieder of Hatboro. She was predeceased by sister, Jean Brunner and brother Thomas Washitzko. Services: 9:15am Mon. Feb. 27 at Weber Funeral Home, 502 Ridge Ave. Allentown, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10am in the church, Catasauqua and Kelchner Rds., Bethlehem.
