Virginia L. Eck, 78, of Allentown passed away Wed. March 14, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Easton on April 28, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Lillian Pursell. She was employed by the Lehigh County Court House until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Allentown. She is survived by a daughter Charlene Gardner of FL, a sister Wilberta Houck of Colbumia, NJ, 2 grandchildren, Jennifer Mayor of Bethlehem and Joseph Gardner of FL, 4 great grandchildren, Dylan, Kayla, Joseph and Gina and baby Shearer, a sister-in-law Sarah Pursell of FL, companion Dale Heintzelman and many other loving family members. She was pre-deceased by her first husband Charles Mayor, second husband Richard Eck, her beloved son Charles Mayor, brothers Harry and Paul Pursell. Services were held Monday, March 19 at Weber Funeral Home, Allentown.
