Viola Thompson
Viola Thompson, 91, of Coopersburg, passed on Oct. 3, 2011 at Valley Manor Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Winfield Thompson who died in 1974. Born in Pleasant Valley, PA; she was a daughter of the late Henry and Ella Mae (Moll) Bealer. She was a member of Saucon Mennonite Church, Coopersburg. She worked for Bethlehem Steel during WWII. She was a sewing machine operator at various mills for many years. With her husband she owned and operated a Ceramic Shop where she taught the art. She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Bealer.
Survivors: Many nieces and nephews.
Services: 10:30 AM Sat., Oct. 8, 2011 at the Saucon Mennonite Church, 6639 Main St., Coopersburg, PA. Viewing: 9:00 - 10:15 AM, Saturday at the church until time of services. Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
