Vincenzo Tartaglia peacefully passed away February 26 2011 with his family by his side. Born and living in Sezze Italy, he joined the Italian Army as a radio operator. Shortly after arriving in Allentown in 1952, he married Noemi and had a son Anthony in 1954. Vince became a member of the Union BAC 15 as a tile setter from1958-86. He was also a member of the Italian American Bacci Assoc., a favorite activity. Vince is kindly remembered for his beautiful gardening and good natured yet feisty spirit. Enjoying the simple moments of life; cooking and eating with friends and family while sipping on his own specialty wine. He will be missed by all loved ones here, and in Italy. Survivors: He is survived by granddaughters Saralyn and Marcy Tartaglia, brother Lelio Tartaglia and nephew Gino Tartaglia and niece Christina Tartaglia. Services: A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:25am on Wednesday March 2 to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30Am both at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Allentown.
