Vincent J. Zoppi, 79, of Allentown, passed away March 27 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Salisbury Twp. Born in Newton, NJ, he was the son of the late Philip and Lucy (Mecca) Zoppi. Vincent was the husband of June (Wagner) with whom he celebrated 44 yrs. of marriage last July. He proudly served in the Army during the Korean War. Vincent retired from the Bethlehem Steel in 1992 after 36 yrs. of service. He was past Secretary of the Allentown City Democratic Committee, past Chairman of the United Steel Workers of Allentown Local #2599. He was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Catholic Church. Survivors: Wife; son, Michael Zoppi and wife Tammy; grandchildren, Tabitha, Tanya, and Jagger; brother Anthony Zoppi; sister, Dolores German; step children, Royal Cole and wife Sigrun, Timothy Cole and wife Mary, Pearson Cole and wife Charolotte, Karen wife of Hugh McGinley, Richard Cole and wife Kathie, Marlene wife of Ken Bailey, Sterling Cole and wife Barbara, Brad Cole and wife Sande, Corey Cole and wife MaryAnn, as well their children and grandchildren.
