Veronica, 76, formerly of Allentown passed away on June 5, 2014. She was born in Allentown on December 10, 1937 to the late John and Margaret (Havrilla) Martin. She spent 57 years of marriage with Richard Kern Sr., and was a secretary in the Allentown School District until her retirement in 1996. She was a member of the ASD Women's Teacher Club, in the ladies auxiliary at Fearless Fire Co., bowled league there on Tuesday night and bowled in their Sunday traveling league. She is predeceased by sisters Bonnie Romig and Marge Finizzi; and brother Michael Martin.

Survivors: Husband Richard of Allentown; son Richard Kern Jr., and wife Michelle of Coplay; granddaughters Allison and Emily; sister Marie Oswald; brother Robert Martin Sr.; nieces; nephews; and many other loving family and friends.

Services: Viewing Tuesday, June 10, from 6-8pm at Weber Funeral Home, 1619 W. Hamilton St. Allentown. Viewing Wednesday, June 11, from 8:30-9:30am at the Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00am at St. Paul RC Church, 920 S. 2nd St. Allentown. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown.
