It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Timothy Earnest Statler Sr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and proud Marine. Tim departed this world on June 23rd, 2026, at the age of 77, in the comfort of his beloved home in Easton, Pennsylvania. His gentle spirit and unwavering strength left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Born on July 26th, 1948 in Easton, Pennsylvania, Tim was the cherished son of Elmer and Mary Statler. He was predeceased by his loving parents, his brothers Thomas and Richard Statler, and his sister Janet Rush, who all welcomed him with open arms as he joined them in eternity.
Tim’s journey in life was marked by his enduring commitment to his family and country. He shared a remarkable 56-year marriage with his beloved wife, Beverly Statler, whom he wed on September 19th, 1970. Together, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew them. A graduate of Easton Area High School, Tim’s education prepared him for a life of service and dedication. As a proud Marine and a veteran of the Vietnam War, Tim served his country with honor and distinction, completing tow terms overseas. His love for his country was surpassed only by the love he held for his family. For over 50 years, Tim dedicated himself to his career in sales with Certified Chemical, earning the respect of his colleagues and clients alike. His commitment to excellence and professionalism left an indelible mark on all those who had the privilege of working alongside him. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Tim was an active member of the VFW and the Americal Legion, where he found camaraderie and purpose among fellow veterans.
He was a man of few words, but when he spoke, his words carried weight and wisdom. His quiet strength and steadfast nature made him a revered figure in the lives of those who knew him. Tim’s passions extended beyond his work and service, as he found joy in playing softball and spending quality time with family and friends. His home was his sanctuary, a place where he welcomed those closest to him with warmth and hospitality. Tim was selective about who he allowed into his life, and those who were fortunate enough to be counted among his friends knew they held a special place in his heart.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; his son Timothy Statler Jr., daughter-in-law Jennifer, and granddaughter Jenna; his daughter Stacy Statler and grandsons Christopher, Michael, and Jeremy Statler, along with ten great-grandchildren, who will continue to cherish his memory and celebrate the legacy he leaves behind.
Tim’s life will be honored at a service on July 23rd, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park, located on Airport Rd., in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Family, friends, and all those who’s lives were touched by Tim are invited to join in celebrating a life well-lived and a love unwavering. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the VFW or American Legion in Tim’s honor, reflecting his lifelong commitment to service and community. Timothy Earnest Statler Sr. will be remembered as a man of integrity, a devoted family man, and a true patriot. His legacy of love, strength, and quiet dignity will endure in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
