Theresa C. Yurasits, 95, formerly of Whitehall Twp., died Wednesday May 27, 2009 in the Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the wife of John J. "Jake" Yurasits for 39 years before his death in 1988. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Theresa C. (Korpics) Szukics. Theresa was a waitress for the former George Washington Motor Lodge and assisted in the cafeteria at St. Elizabeth School. She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary, a former chairlady of the women of St. Elizabeth, former director of the athletic association and a member of the Golden Agers. Survivors: Grandson, John A. Yurasits of Whitehall; brother, Louis C. Szukics and sister, Estella Wehinger both of Allentown; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son John L.
