Theresa Makos of Allentown passed away Thursday, February 14 at age 91 in her home with her family at her side. Born in Rabatotfalu, Hungary, she was the wife of the late Frank Makos. She was employed as a seamstress by the Lehigh Valley Shirt Company. She was a dedicated member of ST. Stephen's of Hungary Church and the Ladies' Guild. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed working in her garden and baking for family and friends. She always looked forward to seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors: Sons Tibor, husband of Barbara of Allentown, and Frank, husband of Margie of Elkins Park; daughters Theresa Khoury of Emmaus and Eva, wife of William McNickle of Lancaster; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Walter, three brothers, and one sister.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30am, Tuesday, February 19 at St. Stephen's of Hungary Church, 510 W. Union St, Allentown. A calling hour will be held from 10-11am, Tuesday, February 19, at Weber Funeral Home, 1619 W. Hamilton St. Allentown.
