Theodore J. Rogens Jr., 72, passed away Oct. 1 at his home in Coopersburg. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Theodore and Mildred (Dougherty) Rogens Sr. Ted's wife Helen (Search) passed away in 2002. He was a 1956 Graduate of Liberty High School. After high school he joined the Air Force, where he was a B58 mechanic. After his time in the Air Force he worked with his father at T.J. Rogens Contracting, which he eventually took over. He was later employed by Muhlenberg College in the maintenance department. Ted served on the Liberty High School class of 1956 reunion committee. He was also an archivist for the Coopersburg Historical Society. Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Sally and her husband Rod Huyett; nieces Bonnie Prunty, and Cheryl Crammer, many great nieces and nephews, as well as many good friends. Services: A memorial service will be held on Wed. Oct. 6th 11:30AM at the Norcross-Weber Funeral Home, 101B Main St. Coopersburg.
