Thelma Joyce (Kern) Trenge, 101, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024. Born May 9, 1923 in Coplay she was the daughter of the late Llewellyn F. and Maude A. (Heintzelman) Kern. She was the wife of the late Carmen Trenge, the two were married for 34 years until his passing in 1997.

She was confirmed at the United Church of Christ in Whitehall. Thelma had her own businesses, Trenge Bros. Neckwear, making women's and children's clothing and Trenge Cafe. She also worked for different factories: Atomic Knitwear, Egypt Pants, and Wirth Manufacturers. Thelma retired after 45 years.

She is survived by a stepson, Richard G. Trenge, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in passing by four brothers.

A viewing will be held Friday, August 30, 2024 from 10:30AM until the service at 12:30PM, all at Weber Funeral Homes 502 Ridge Avenue Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Allentown, PA.
