Stephen C. Gossman

Stephen C. Gossman, 101, of Allentown, died February 14, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Stephen and Johanna (Czerketz) Gossman. He was the loving husband of the late Cecelia M. (Tretter) Gossman. He was a member of S.S. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, Bethlehem. He worked for Bethlehem Steel where in 1941 he signed a pledge to become a member of the United Steel Workers. He enjoyed watching all sports, especially the Phillies.

Survivors: Daughter, MaryAnn Eline; Sons, Leon and David Gossman; Brother, Frank Gossman; 10 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; three Great-Great Grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by a son, Stephen, two brothers, William and Joseph, and two sisters, Hilda and Emma.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 am, Wednesday, February 19, at S.S. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, 730 W. Broad St, Bethlehem, PA. Viewing: 9:30 - 10:15 AM, Wednesday at the church. Interment to take place in Woodlawn Memorial Park. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
