Stefan M. Bartczak, 92, of Allentown passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017. Born in Karschnitzae, Poland on March 20, 1924, he was the son of the late Stanislaus and Helwig Bartczak. He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline (Dimovitz) Bartczak and one son Joseph M. Bartczak.
Stefan was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II and the Korean War. Stefan had a love for bowling, gardening, playing pinochle and was an avid Phillies fan. He also enjoyed watching the stock market and talking politics.
SURVIVORS: four sons, Stephen M. Bartczak, Gerald Bartczak, Daniel Bartczak and wife Marisol, John S. Bartczak and wife Mari; one daughter, Roseann Schaner and husband Kevin, all of Allentown; one sister, Maria Kujawa of Ozorkow, Poland; eight grandchildren, Stefanie, Samantha, Alyssa, Justin, Joseph, Daniel, Luis, and Edward; two great-grandchildren Reyna and Jaylin.
Stefan was a beloved father, grandfather , great-grandfather and brother, he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 11AM Tuesday March 21, 2017 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. A viewing will take place 9AM-10:15AM Tuesday March 21, 2017 at WEBER FUNERAL HOME 1619 HAMILTON STREET, ALLENTOWN. Burial will follow. Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfuneralhomes.com
