Sophie Cunningham, 83, of Whitehall, passed away September 22, 2016. Born in Fogelsville, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Minnie (Haddad) Charles. Sophie was very dedicated to her church, was a secretary there and even a Sunday school teacher. She was a loving wife to Albert (deceased) for 46 years, as well as a loving mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend to all.

SURVIVORS:One son Albert, husband to Suzanne. Two grandchildren; Nicole and Alexa. Sisters; Sarah, Mary and her deceased husband Joseph, brother; Albert (George) and his deceased wife Gail. Deceased Anies (Ernie) married to Patricia, and many nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held 11am, Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave, Allentown. A viewing will be held 10am followed by the funeral service. The burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery, 2420 Lehigh Ave, Whitehall followed by a Mercy Meal back at St. George's Orthodox Church.
