Sonia Azar
Sonia Azar, 74, of Allentown, died November 5, 2009 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. Born in Amar, Syria; she was a daughter of the late Fahed and Zakieh (Azar) Jarrouj. She was the wife of the late Wilson Azar for 55 years until his death on May 7, 2009. She volunteered and was a member at St. George's Antiochian Orthodox Church, Allentown. She enjoyed the times with the neighborhood lunch group. She helped bring and raise her siblings here in America. She was predeceased by a brother, Hizza Gerrouge.
Survivors: Brothers, Ayoub Jarrouj and Radwan Jarrouj; Sisters, Layla Ishak, Moutia Nehme, Yesmine Koval, and Renee Elias; 16 loving nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
