Shirley C. Solonoski, of Allentown, passed away peacefully in her home on April 16th, 2015. She was born December 5th, 1929 in Hazleton, Pa to the late Alvin and Anna Dorothy (Daniels) Minnick and had worked for Sondra Mfg for many years and then for Agere Mfg for 17 years, retiring in 2000. Shirley was predeceased by her brother William Minnick and a sister Laura Meier-Vananko.
Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her sons: Walter T. Solonoski and wife Karen of Northampton, Pa, William J. Solonoski and wife Denise of Allentown, Pa and David J. Solonoski of Leesburg, Fl. Daughters: Paula Steiner and husband Ted of Whitehall, Pa and Donna Souders and companion Harry Clark of Allentown,Pa. Shirley is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, and a brother Cyril Minnick of Front Royal, WV.
Services: A viewing will be held on Wednesday April 22 from 10AM until a service at 11:30AM both will be at Weber Funeral Home, 502 Ridge Ave. in Allentown.
