IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Shawn David
Berosh
February 4, 1972 – April 18, 2024
Shawn Berosh, 52, of Allentown, went to have a cold beer in the big baseball diamond in the sky on Thursday, April 18, 2024, with his cherished family by his side. He was the son of the late Joseph Berosh and the surviving Dorothy (Cowley) Berosh. Shawn is also survived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Rachel (Kunsman) Berosh.
He was a lifelong avid softball player, playing for William Allen High School's team (class of 1990) and earning a scholarship to Methodist University, where he attended. Not stopping there, he played softball for: Duke's Pub, Pott's Hot Dog, Mavericks, Dominoes, Jordan A.C., Stooges Bar & Grille, and Western Salisbury Church; he even tried out for the Philadelphia Phillies.
Inheriting his love of bowling from his parents, he played in many leagues including Friday Night Classic League, Rose Bowl Industrial League, Allentown Fraternal League, and Merchants League.
After attending college, Shawn was a material handler, working for Optimas Solutions and, most recently, Eastern Sales Services where he will be greatly missed by his coworkers.
He was the proud Papa to, in his own words, his "two awesome boys who kept him plenty busy", Joe and Max Berosh. His memory will be cherished by his siblings, Heather, wife of Joseph Bauer, and Eric Berosh and his wife, Kathy; sister-in-law, Christine, wife of Nicholas Coban; and in-laws, "Gangsta Granny" and "Pop". He was also the "Fun Uncle" to his many loved nieces and nephews and treasured friend to many. At home are also his moose of a dog, Teddy, and the bane of his existence, "that damn bunny".
Family and friends are welcome to have a shot of Jack in Shawn's honor and regale stories and memories on June 8th, 2024, from 1-5PM at the Coplay Saengerbund 205 South 5th Street Coplay, PA 18037. Please bring a print of your favorite photo of Shawn to contribute for a keepsake album for his sons.
Donations may be made in Shawn's memory to benefit his sons' futures, please contact Weber Funeral Homes.
