Sarah J. Mahaffey "Nana" age 92, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at her home. She was born May 15, 1931 in Easton, the daughter of the late Andrew and Jennie (Calabrese) Gambino.

Sarah grew up as one of seven siblings in Easton, her and her sisters were known as the Gambino girls around town. She loved dancing and she was known for being the life of the party; she was even nicknamed "Dynamite." Sarah loved to play cards, going to the casino, and babysitting her grandchildren. She had various jobs including manufacturing at the Fredwell (Simon Silk Mill), being a cafeteria worker at Easton Area High School, as well as cooking at the Easton Home for many years and then taking care of her family the rest of her days. She wasn't one to sit still; whether it was cleaning, cooking, or scratching lottery tickets. She will be sorely missed by her family.

She is survived by son, Isaac Mahaffey, Jr.; two daughters, Jennifer Mahaffey-Kuna and Roxanne Mahaffey-Vincent; six grandchildren, Sav and Nick Vincent, Frankie and Isaac Kuna, Angelo and Dante Mahaffey; many nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law Yonk Shandor.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Isaac Mahaffey, Sr. and her six siblings, Mary and husband Frank Bronico, Josephine Shandor, and Angelo and wife Lois Gambino, Anthony and wife Sadie Gambino, Rosie and Florence Gambino.

Professional Services are entrusted to Norcross-Weber Funeral Home in Coopersburg. A Visitation will be held Monday, January 15, 2024 starting at 11:00 A.M. until the time of Funeral Services at 1:00 P.M. all at Norcross-Weber Funeral Home, 101B N Main St. Coopersburg, PA 18036. Interment will immediately follow at Northampton Memorial Shrine.
