On Wednesday, March 13, 2013, Sara R. Clarke, passed away at her home, in Allentown, PA. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Layoun) Hanna. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Clarke, her brother Caesar Hanna, her sisters: Anna Solomon, Eleanor Kahl, and Emily Wagner. Sara was a retired AT&T employee and a lifelong member of St. George's Syrian Antiochian Orthodox Church.
Survivors: She is survived by her daughter, Jane C. Gehrig, husband William L. Gehrig, grandsons, Joseph and Jack Gehrig of Alexandria, VA and her son, James L. Clarke and wife Carol Clarke of Allentown, PA, and many nieces and nephews.
Services: On Saturday, March 23, 2013, there will be a viewing from 9:30 to 10:00 Am., followed by a service at 10:00 Am both at St. George's Syrian Antiochian Orthodox Church in Allentown. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Animals In Distress or the Ladies Auxiliary of St. George's Church.
