Ruth Margaret Repnyek, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2022 at the young age of 101. She was born in Bethlehem to the late William A. and Caroline (Tilberg) Shepardson.  She shared over 50 years of marriage to her late husband William Joseph Repnyek Sr.. Ruth was predeceased by her Son William J. Repnyek Jr., Daughter in Law Mary Jane Repnyek , three brothers and two sisters. She was the longest living and tenured active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church , now Star of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School and volunteering with their women's groups in her earlier years. She also volunteered at the Boutique at the Rink for many years and had once been a Den Mother with the Boy Scouts. Ruth was a happy and loving woman who always had a hug and warm hand for those she knew or just met.  She enjoyed lottery scratch-offs, jigsaw puzzles, crocheting, and making paper Christmas stars.  She is survived by her son David Repnyek and partner Carol Baine, Sister Joan Kingslake, Daughter in Law Sandy Repnyek, special friend and caretaker Angela Clarke, long time neighbor and friend Irene Goosely, 8 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
