Ruth V. Charles

Ruth V. Charles, 80, of Bethlehem, passed away August 6, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Arthur W. and Florence (Schmeltzly) Chamberlain. She was the loving wife of Fred Charles for 59 years. Ruth was employed by Merchants Bank &Wells Fargo Bank for many years. She was predeceased by a brother, Samuel, and a sister, Elizabeth.

Survivors: Husband, Fred; Daughter, Carol Hecht and her husband Timothy of AZ; Sister, Dolores Castetter of Center Valley; Grandchildren, Richard T. Troxell husband of Megan and Nicole L. Troxell; Great Grandchildren, Richard, IV, Domonic and Elizabeth Rose Troxell; many nieces and nephews.
