Rudolph H. "Bud" Kurtz, 88, died March 14, 2016 at his residence in Allentown. He was the loving husband of Jean (Weber) Kurtz for 61 years. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Adolph and Julia (Zotter) Kurtz. He was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Allentown. Rudolph worked for Lehigh Structural Steel for 43 years until retiring in 1990. He served our country proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII as a Tech5. He was predeceased by five brothers and one sister. Rudolph enjoyed and loved all the time he shared with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors: Wife, Jean; Daughter, Mary Bahney and her husband Gregg; Sons, Robert and his wife Sharon, William and his wife Nancy, and John and his wife Marla; grandchildren, Amanda, Sara, Breanne, Hannah, Adam, Jason, and Jenna; Great grandchildren, Vincent, Victor, and Spenser; many nieces and nephews.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM Friday, March 18, 2016 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 2nd & Susquehanna Sts., Allentown, PA. Viewing: 9:30-10:45 AM at the church. Services entrusted to WEBER FUNERAL HOMES. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
