Roy M. Vogel, age 85, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at Valley Manor Rehabilitation and Care Center in Coopersburg. He was born June 3, 1936 in New York City, the son of the late Joseph F. and Hilda P. (Posch) Vogel. He was the loving husband of the late Barbara L. (Rakos) Vogel, whom he was married to for 41 years before her passing in 2011.

Roy graduated in the Class of 1954 from Coopersburg High School. He served his country in the US Air Force for 32 years where he was a ground support technician and worked on the electrical systems of planes at the Willow Grove Naval Air Station. He retired in 1994, holding the title of Master Sergeant. Roy honored God and his country with the life he lived. Roy was a lifelong member at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Coopersburg.

Roy is survived by his sister Elleen Rinker of Coopersburg; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Zweifel.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at 10:00 AM, all at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Coopersburg; 5050 St Josephs Rd, Coopersburg, PA 18036. Professional Services are entrusted to Norcross-Weber Funeral Home, Inc.
