Roy H. Bowers, 91, passed away April 18 at his home in Center Valley. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Samuel and Sarah (Henry) Bowers. Roy was the husband of Grace (Chilcoat) who passed in 1982. He retired from Garrett Buchanan Paper Co. in 1980 after 19 years as a sales service manager. Roy proudly served in the Army during WWII in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre. He was a member of Faith United Church of Christ in Center Valley. Roy loved gardening and was especially proud of his roses. Survivors: Sister, Betty Ruch of Allentown; nieces and nephews. Services: Graveside service on Sat. 10 am at Friedensville Cemetery, Saucon Valley Road, Center Valley.
