Rose Stravino, 96, passed away peacefully on Tues. at home with her son Don, daughter Suzette, and pet Paco. Born in Allentown she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Bochick) Pletz. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Stravino who passed away in 1969. Rose was a loving mother and homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Survivors: Son, Don of Whitehall; daughters, Gloria Skrapits of Macungie, Sylvia wife of John Gill of Whitehall, Suzette of Whitehall; grandchildren, Therese wife of Michael Sowa, Yvonne Kuklis, Jonelle Gill, Joseph Skrapits and wife Michelle, Gloria wife of William Gaumer; great grandchildren, Alexander and Zachary Sowa, Natasha and Luke Kuklis. She was predeceased by son Pasquale who was killed in an automobile accident in 1988. She was also predeceased by brothers, John, Frank, Michael, Charles and George.
