Rose S. Haberl, of Whitehall, passed away on September 4 at the age of 87. She was born in Nazareth to the late Michael and Rose (Kositz) Tarnok and was predeceased by her husband William J. "Wits" Haberl in 1999. Residing for the past 12 years at Whitehall Manor, Rose had been one of their original residents. She had worked in customer service for Russell Stover Candies for 20 years, retiring in 1990. Rose was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, in Whitehall. At church, she also was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Golden Agers. Rose had been predeceased by her siblings John, William, Fred, Helen, and Sister Seraphia S.M.C. Survivors: Sons: William E. and wife Maryjean Haberl, and Robert T. Haberl, Daughter Roseann Haberl, Grandchildren Krista, Jeff, and Jessica. Great Grandchildren Dylan, Jack, Olivia, and Luke. A brother Michael Tarnok and a sister Marie Moore. Services: A viewing will be held on Friday September 7 from 12:00PM to 1:00PM. Immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1PM both at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Whitehall.
