Rose, 99, passed away in Fountain Hill on January 8, 2015. She was born in Allentown on April 4, 1915 to the late Albert and Zahie (Abraham) George. She worked at the Queen City Dress Factory for 30 years until retirement in 1972. She is predeceased by sisters Helen and Sarah George, Amelia Hipple, and Minnie Joseph; and brothers Isaac, Samuel, Joseph and Edward George.

Survivors: Brother James George; nieces Patricia and Janice Hipple, and Jennifer George; and nephews James Hipple and Edward George.

Services: Viewing Tuesday, January 13 from 11-Noon, followed by a service, both at Weber Funeral Home, 502 Ridge Ave., Allentown. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park to follow. www.weberfuneralhomes.com
