Rosalie C. Montagner, 85, formerly of Allentown, passed away December 27, 2014 at Fellowship Terrace, Whitehall surrounded by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Josephine (DeMarco) Ingeno. She was the wife of the late James Montagner for 46 years until his death in 1999. Rosalie worked at Lehigh Valley Hospital upon its opening in 1974 until retirement and volunteered there for many years thereafter. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Allentown. Her family and many friends will remember her modeling, beautiful singing, cooking, and engaging personality. She will also be remembered as a caring grandmother, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. Special thanks to the loving staff at Fellowship Terrace and Lehigh Valley Hospice for their kindness and caring -- she was loved by many.
Survivors: Son, Stephen, husband of Tina of Kutztown; Daughters, Cynthia, wife of Joseph Green Jr. of Allentown, and Leona Onushco-Hardner, wife of Brian Hardner of Slatington; siblings: James Ingeno of Springfield PA; and three grandsons, Jimmy, Brennan and Alexander. She was predeceased by her sister, Carmela Torrisi.
Services: A visitation will be held from 7-9pm, Friday, January 2, at Weber Funeral Home, 1619 Hamilton St., Allentown, PA and 9:30am, Saturday, January 3rd until time of services at 10am at the Fellowship Villa, Zentz Community Center, 3000 Fellowship Drive, Whitehall, PA.
