Roberta May Sherwin, 75, of Macungie, passed away peacefully on October 12th, 2018. Born in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Lucille M. (Tancrell) Romasco. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Dr. Gerald P. Sherwin, MD.


Roberta graduated from Mecklenburg High School, class of 1960, in Charlotte, North Carolina. After, she graduated from Mercy School of Nursing, class of 1963, also in Charlotte, North Carolina. She worked as an operating room nurse at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest from 1975 until her retirement in 2003.


Survivors: In addition to her husband, Gerald, she is survived by her children: Kristina Sundin of Watchung, NJ, David Sherwin of Slatington, PA, Kimberly Schmidt of Roaring Brook Township, PA, and Nicholas E. Sundin of Perkasie, PA; grandchildren: Zakery, Brooke, Katharine, Kyle, Morgan, Abigail, Jenna, Gianna, Chiara, Sophia, and Gavin.


Services: A viewing will be held from 5-8PM on Tuesday, October 16th, 2018 at Weber Funeral Home 1619 Hamilton Street, Allentown. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Wednesday, October 17th, 2018 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church 1040 Flexler Avenue, Allentown. Burial will immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Allentown.
