Roberta Bacher
Roberta Bacher, 83, of Salisbury Twp., died on June 20, 2011 at Manorcare Nursing Home, Bethlehem. Born in Los Angeles, CA, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Gladys (Smith) Lanfear. She was the loving wife of Walter Bacher for 65 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Allentown. She was a nurse for 50 years at Allentown General and St. Luke's Hospital in Allentown. Roberta loved to travel with her husband.
Survivors: Husband; Son, Edward, companion of 14 years and fianc of Jennifer Schultz of Laurys Station; Grandson, Brian, husband of Denise of Philadelphia; and a great-grandson, Logan.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 AM, Thurs., June 23 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 2nd & Susquehanna Sts., Allentown. Viewing: 9:00 - 10:15 AM, Thursday at the church. Interment in Laurel Cemetery, Whitehall. Services entrusted to Weber Funeral Homes. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
