Robert Kelly Sr. 87, of Allentown, passed away at his home on April 24, 2021. Bob was born March 1934 in Allentown PA to William M. and Anna M. (Schramel) Kelly.

He attended Central Catholic High School. He served in the United States Military from 1953 to 1958 in both the Army and Marine Corp. Bob lived in Allentown until he met his wife Bonnie and they moved to Ironton, PA in 1978.

He held the position of toolmaker at Lehigh Structural Steel Co. for 20+ years until the company closed, he then worked at Phoenix Forging Co. as a CNC lathe and mill operator until retiring.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with his family, relaxing in the backyard and especially model railroading.

He is survived by a son, Robert (Rob) Kelly Jr., daughter, Kim Kelly, sister in law, Eileen, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie, his parents, 3 brothers: Edward, Charles, and Michael, and his sister, Martha.

At his request, services will be private.
