Robert P. "Pete" Peterman Sr., of Coopersburg, died Saturday evening, at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Peterman worked the past 22 years at Muller Martini Mailroom Systems Inc., in Allentown, as Director of Purchasing. He previously worked for 19 years at AEL in Colmar. Mr. Peterman was known for being a family man, for his sense of humor and love of good times and good food. He enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and was a devoted Philadelphia sports fan, remaining loyal to the Phillies and Eagles through their darkest days. He was most passionate about the Eagles, attending many home games and even traveling to see them play in New Orleans in 2006. He had the honor of meeting Eagles legends and Hall of Famers Chuck Bednarik and Tommy McDonald. He was predeceased by his father Harry H. Peterman. Survivors: Beloved wife of 40 years Eileen (Zelinski), Two Sons: Robert of Coopersburg and Daniel of Glenolden, Mother: Margaret M. of Phoenixville, Two Sisters: Nancy Szewczak of Phoenixville and Kathleen Schilling of Mint Hill, N.C. and a Brother Kevin of Elsmere, DE.
