Robert "Bob" N. Grether, age 77, of Allentown, PA, passed away peacefully Friday, November 4, 2022 at Promedica in Bethlehem. He was born August 9, 1945 in Allentown, the son of the late Elwood E. Grether, Sr. and Winifred M. (Fritz) Grether.

Bob graduated in the Class of 1963 from Dieruff High School in Allentown. He enjoyed watching T.V. especially the Philadelphia Phillies and the Eagles. He was a member of the CrossPoint Church in Bethlehem for many years. He will be remembered as one of the nicest people known.

He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Eavon M. (Smith) Grether of Allentown; sister, Carol (Ronald) Pope of Neffs, PA; two nieces, Johanna (Greg) Zellner of Neffs and Kim Grether of FL; two nephews, Jeff Grether and Ronnie Pope of Neffs; grand-niece and nephew Emily Mae Zellner, Brandon Zellner; and other grand-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Bruce and Elwood Grether, Jr.

Professional Services are entrusted to Weber Funeral Homes, P.C. in Allentown. A Public Viewing will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022 starting at 11:00 A.M. until the time of Funeral Services at 1:00 P.M. all at Weber Funeral Homes, 1619 Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA 18102. Pastor Anita Eastlack will be officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Allentown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's memory to the CrossPoint Church, 1414 Pennsylvania Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
