Robert A. Gilliard, born June 16, 1929, passed away January 25, 2022. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Casper) Gilliard.

Bob proudly served in the US Army during WWII and continued his honorable career for many years in the US Coast Guard. He was employed by Bethlehem Steel and volunteered at the YMCA.

He is survived by his sisters: Elaine Ridgick and Joan Sell; nieces and nephews Monique Fetter, Earl Gilliard, and Michelle Hamershock, along with many other beloved family members.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Cedar Hill Memorial Park 1700 Airport Road Allentown, PA 18109.
