Richard A. Romig passed into Heaven peacefully at the age of 89 on

January 19, 2021, just shy of his 90 ^th birthday. He was born on January 29,1931 and was being served by Phoebe Home in Allentown at the time of his death.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Romig who passed away in 2004. He was a veteran of the Navy. He worked at Bethlehem Steel for 40 years, after retirement he worked at Walmart as a greeter. He is survived by 2 Sons. Richard Romig and his fiancée Joanne of Whitehall, Charles Caviston and his wife Heather of Mount Royal NJ, and 3 Daughters – Ellen wife of Robert Gaugler of Bethlehem and Mary wife of Ronald Wirth of Allentown, and Laura wife of Gary Ace of Allentown.  Also 5 Grandchildren, Ryan Wirth, Brittany Wirth, Barrett Gaugler, Katie Ace, Zac Ace. Richard was an avid sports fan, he always had sports on TV, except for Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

The arrangements are being handled by Weber Funeral Home on 502 Ridge Avenue. Calling hour will be 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2021.  Immediately following, a small graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park on Airport Road in Allentown.
