Richard F. Kresge, 91, of Coopersburg, PA, passed peacefully on February 10, 2022, in Alexandria Manor, Nazareth, PA. Richard was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alice Cressman Kresge, to whom he was married for 65 years in May of 2021. Born in Easton, PA he was the son of Wilmer and Florence (Reichard) Kresge. Richard graduated in 1948 from Quakertown High School. He began attending Bethlehem Business College but stopped to serve 4 years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War as part of Admiral Carney's staff in telecommunications. Post Navy, Richard completed his business degree and worked for Bethlehem Steel for almost 30 years in the executive offices at the Third Street location and then in Martin Tower. Richard was an accomplished pianist and organist. He enjoyed spending time at the family cabin at Lake Minisink in the Poconos. He is survived by his son Richard (Sandra) Kresge of Nazareth, and Mark (Ann) Kresge of Harleysville. Grandchildren: Pamela Kresge, Paige German (Hugo), Matthew Kresge and Andrew Kresge. Services: A memorial service to be held in the future. Contributions to the charity of ones choice.
