Richard "Rick" J. Purdy, age 76, of Lehigh Valley, PA, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 at his home. He was born April 20, 1946 in Jamison, PA, the son of the late William E. and Raye Purdy.

Rick graduated from Central Bucks High School. He served in the US Navy for seven years during Vietnam. He worked for many years as a purchasing agent at Carson Helicopters in Perkasie and then as a maintenance worker for Bucks County Transport. Back in the day, he was an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast, bowler, and roller skater. To the present date, he will be remembered as a hard worker.

Rick is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Paula A. Purdy; three sons, Cameron, Vince and Sean Purdy; daughter, Kelly Germann; two step-children, Louis and Nicole Mormon; four grandchildren; and one brother, Jim Purdy.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by step-son, Paul; and one brother, Bob.
