Richard C. Ghares
Richard C. Ghares, 64 of Whitehall, passed away July 26 at his home. He was born in Philadelphia to the late: Sam and Tillie (Wall) Ghares and would have been married for 42 years this September to his loving wife Donna (Zigmant). Richard had worked for Spring Ridge Apartments as a maintenance man from 1974 until 1993 and recently worked as an electrician for Apex Management in Bethlehem and ASL Electric in Catasauqua. He was a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Whitehall and Served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War
Survivors: Wife Donna, Son Terry Ghares, Daughter Tiphanie Ghares all of Whitehall, and Sister Ruth Ann Ehrig of Emmaus.
Services: Visitation on Tuesday July 31 from 7-9 PM at Weber Funeral Home, 1619 Hamilton St., Allentown. On Wednesday August 1 a viewing from 9-10am to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am both at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Whitehall.
