Richard D. Galucy, 84, of Allentown, passed away August 25, 2022. Born in Schnecksville, he was the son of the late Anthony R. Galucy Sr. and Beatrice A. (Hand) Galucy. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Catherine (Udicious) Galucy.

Dick was an electrician for over 40 years working for Western Electric, AT&T, and finally, Lucent, until his retirement. In his free time he was usually out bowling, fishing, or gambling; he also played softball. Dick was an avid fan of all Philadelphia sports teams.

In addition to his wife, he is lovingly remembered by his children: Gina, wife of Gregory Cernak of Manassas, VA, and Tony Galucy and his wife, Lori, of Schnecksville; grandchildren: Chris Jr., Stephen, Mackenzie, and Madison; sisters: Maryann, Gloria, and Sally, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in passing by his parents, a son, Chris Sr., and three siblings: Raymond, Tony, and Edie.
